 
Mechitarine was made according to a secret monastery recipe using the best fruits
(12 sorts), herbs, roots and spices (42 in total), which are imported from the Orient
or taken from the domestic market, and is prepared naturally by the monks without
using extracts or chemical substances.
As far back as 1680 Mechitarine was mentioned in an Armenian manuscript stating
its unique tastes.
Mechitarine contains all the requirements of a first class liqueur.
Mechitarine won more then 30 gold medals, many silver and bronze medals and was
conferred honorary diplomas at international culinary fairs, gastronomic exhibitions
in Vienna and Paris.
Mechitarine is available in high-class hotels, restaurants, coffee shops and selected
groceries stores.
